Hi, I’m Andrea…
(She/Her)
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), EMDR practitioner, and Life/Career Coach. I have a Masters in Counseling Psychology from St. Mary’s University, and specialized coaching training from the Institute for Life Coach Training, and The Mindfulness Coaching School. I have over a decade of experience supporting adults seeking greater purpose, clarity, and meaning in their lives. My work is especially suited for those navigating midlife transitions, existential questions, spiritual inquiry, or a desire to live with deeper authenticity.
I also provide life and/or career coaching, including giving assessments such as the Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), Strong Interest Inventory, and the Clifton Strengths Assessment.
An integrative approach to growth and healing…
I integrate psychodynamic therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), existential psychotherapy, and EMDR, offering a grounded, offering a safe and dynamic space to explore both emotional wounds and untapped potential. My coaching lens provides a non-pathologizing framework that invites clients to view their struggles not as deficits, but as calls toward transformation, growth, and connection with something larger than themselves. I also provide coaching and consultation to other professionals looking to make changes in their career direction to better align with the values and purpose.
I also work with individuals exploring expanded states of consciousness through plant-based medicine, meditation, breathwork, or other contemplative practices. I love interweaving concepts from Buddhism, Taoism, Quantum Physics, and other philosophical and spiritual orientations. Whether clients are seeking to explore spiritual or psychedelic experience or are considering new ways of being in the world, I support them in weaving insight into daily life with intention and care.
In addition to psychotherapy, I offer coaching sessions that support career discovery, life transitions, and values-based decision-making. I use tools like the Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), Strong Interest Inventory, and the Clifton Strengths Assessment to help clients clarify their gifts and take meaningful forward action in their lives. My style is warm, collaborative, and relational—focused on helping clients access their inner wisdom and build lives of coherence, depth, and purpose.
Who I work with:
I work best with clients who are curious, reflective, and drawn to depth. If any of the following resonate with you, you may find my approach especially meaningful:
You’re a reader at heart — someone who finds wisdom in literature, poetry, or non-fiction, and wants to explore how stories, ideas, and language can support healing and growth.
You’re not looking for a diagnosis — you’re not here to be labeled, but to understand yourself, your experiences, and your potential for transformation.
You’re seeking meaning, not quick fixes — you’re ready to explore life’s deeper questions and emotions, not just resolve surface-level symptoms.
You value alternative and integrative approaches — you’re drawn to perspectives outside conventional models, including Buddhist, Taoist, or other contemplative traditions.
You crave depth and complexity — you don’t shy away from nuance, paradox, or uncertainty. You want therapy to be a place of insight, not just advice.
You’re a thoughtful professional — navigating questions of purpose, fulfillment, and authenticity in your career or relationships, and seeking clarity on how to align your outer life with your inner truth.
You’re open to altered states of consciousness — whether through plant-based medicine, meditation, or other non-ordinary experiences, you’re interested in expanded ways of knowing and healing.
My clients are welcome to work with me on a weekly, bi-weekly or on an “as needed” basis. I provide a flexible format based on a collaborative relationship of trust and communication about what works best for your growth.
