Hi, I’m Erin…
(She/Her)
If you've tried talk therapy and felt like something was missing — or if you're carrying something that words alone can't quite reach — you may be in the right place. I'm a licensed psychotherapist and board-certified music therapist with 20+ years of experience, and I offer something genuinely different: therapy that works with your whole self, not just your thoughts.
I work with teens, adults, and couples navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, depression, relationship strain, and life transitions. My approach is warm, relational, and depth-oriented — I'm an active listener who pays attention to what's beneath the surface, so we can untangle what's really going on and move toward something that feels more authentic and connected.
For couples, I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) — one of the most well-researched approaches available — to help partners identify painful patterns, rebuild trust, and create lasting change. Many couples come in feeling stuck or disconnected; EFT helps get to the emotional root of what's happening between you.
For teens, I offer a creative, pressure-free space where young people can express themselves, process difficult emotions, and build confidence — through conversation, music, or art, whatever feels most natural to them.
Integrating Creative Work Into Psychotherapy
You don't have to be musical or artistic to benefit from what I offer. Music therapy and Guided Imagery and Music (GIM) are clinical tools — not performance, not arts and crafts. They work by gently accessing emotion and insight in ways that conversation alone sometimes can't. For trauma, grief, and deep self-exploration, this can be genuinely transformative. Some of my clients choose to integrate music and art, and others don’t! It's always optional, always collaborative, and always in service of your goals.
I'm a Fellow of the Association for Music and Imagery — an advanced credential in GIM — and I've spent over two decades doing this work across grief, trauma, caregiver support, and life transitions.
