Hi, I’m Erin…
(She/Her)
Relationships can feel confusing, painful, and hard to untangle — especially when the same patterns keep repeating or something important has been broken. Whether you're working through conflict, navigating infidelity, rebuilding after a separation, or trying to understand your relationship more clearly, this work deserves care and attention.
I specialize in relationships in all their complexity — couples, LGBTQ+ partnerships, polyamorous and non-traditional structures, and individuals exploring their relational patterns. For couples, I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help you move beyond surface arguments and understand the deeper emotional patterns underneath, so real change can happen.
I also bring over 20 years of experience in grief work, including the kind of loss that comes with relationships changing or ending. My background in hospice work means I am comfortable sitting with difficult emotions, complex conversations, and moments that feel uncertain or overwhelming.
I'm a licensed psychotherapist, board-certified music therapist, and Fellow of the Association for Music and Imagery. I also work with teens, and as a parent of teenagers, I bring real-life understanding into that work.
You don't have to explain or justify how your relationship works. Whatever brings you here, there's room for it.
Integrating Creative Work Into Psychotherapy
You don't have to be musical or artistic to benefit from this work. Music therapy, Guided Imagery and Music, and mandala work are clinical tools — not performance, not arts and crafts. They work by gently accessing emotion, insight, and deeper symbolic material in ways that conversation alone sometimes can't reach. For trauma, grief, and deeper self-exploration, this can be especially helpful.
Some clients choose to include these approaches, and others don't. They are always optional, always collaborative, and always guided by what feels most useful for you.
I'm a Fellow of the Association for Music and Imagery — an advanced credential in GIM — and I've spent over two decades doing this work across grief, trauma, caregiver support, and life transitions.
